River
Clean Up

On Friday, you can float the river for Free,
spend time with fun people and help get the river
in great shape for the upcoming summer.

This cleanup is a great way to be part of a community effort benefiting our local riparian environment.

Last year’s cleanups collected a total of
3,500 pounds of trash from the Illinois River.

Photo's taken at an Okie-Tex Star Party

M42

A little movie showing what
Okie-Tex is all about

(approx 6.5 meg
 in wmv format)

I had a friend of mine attend this star party
and I asked him what most impressed him
 while he was there.

He said it happened one night when he
turned around, looked down and saw
a Perfect Reflection of...the Milky Way
....in the hood of his car.

~ Now THAT is Dark ~
